Older and Dirtier Every Day: Murray Hamilton in Summer Girl

1983 TV movie "Summer Girl" cast Murray Hamilton as the alcoholic neighbor who was not afraid of being a dirty old man. Just listen to the video clip below this terribly low-resolution screen capture.

Older and dirtier every day. Murray at 60. TV movie queen Kim Darby versus the young nanny -- everyone loves the sexy young nanny and can't see that she's up to no good. Kim Darby's TV movie husband (the ever-hunky Barry Bostwick) and kids think it's pregnant Kim Darby who has the problem. One of those kind of TV movies. Need a better quality copy for screen shots. Murray Hamilton on screen in shorts was kind of a rarity.

Route 66: The Swan Bed with a lot of Murray Hamilton

The third episode of Route 66, "The Swan Bed," featured a lot of Murray Hamilton close-ups.

Buz and Tod are in New Orleans. Tod befriends a 15-year-old Zina Bethune.  In the debut episode he befriended a 15-year-old Patty McCormack. Not a good trend, Stiles.

A bird virus has broken out. Buz finds a female friend he used to know, but now she's an exotic dancer... with birds! She falls ill, and it all ties together with a fancy bed. Murray Hamilton as the public health doctor.

Meanwhile Tod auditions for Musical Youth

Before he was Officer Jerry Woods on Adam-12, Fred Stromsoe kept showing up on Route 66.

FYI His role as J. Hugh Kilbourne in the Drowning Pool amuses me like no other:

Cannon Pilot Movie, March 1971

Actor Murray Hamilton appeared in three episodes of "Cannon," including the two-hour pilot. In the pilot, he had a beard and really played up the "hound dog" (as Cannon puts it) accent.
